Consultancy
Buy hours or days of Consultancy. The days can include any content you like, up to 7 hours per day. For example, SQL Server, programming, performance, Power BI, training. mentoring or trouble-shooting.
Once I have received the order, I’ll be in touch with you and will usually deliver the consultancy to you within a few days. The consultancy will take place on Microsoft Teams.
Audits
SQL Server Audit
We’ll start with a kickoff call to review your environment and pain points, followed by a focused remote audit of a selected SQL Server instance covering key performance bottlenecks, indexing issues, slow-running queries, misconfigurations, and storage or memory inefficiencies.
We’ll also look at security, maintenance plans, backups and any maintainability issues within your codebase.
You’ll receive a one-page summary with prioritized fixes, and we’ll walk through it together in a one-hour debrief call — with some quick wins implemented where possible during the audit.
Power BI Audit
In our Power BI Audit, we start with a 90-minute kickoff call to review your PBIX files and understand where performance issues are showing up.
We’lI then conduct a detailed remote analysis of your data model, DAX formulas, Power Query steps, and refresh setup to identify the root causes of slow performance.
Where possible, we’ll make direct optimizations ourselves; otherwise, we’ll document recommended changes. You’ll receive a one-page summary of findings and fixes, followed by a debrief call to walk you through the improvements and how to prevent future slowdowns.
